Cossin tekemistä - Making cosplay costume

Olen siis jo saanut nyt puolet takista ommeltua. Kun takki on valmis, aloitan seuraavaksi joko metsästämään oikeita housuja kirppikseltä joita voin lyhentää polven pituisiksi. Tai, ostan uudet kankaat liiviä varten ja aloitan liivin teon. Hankinnassa on sitten myös Punanaamiosta suippokorvat ja "karvat" jalkapöydän päälle ns. hobitin jalkoja varten.

I am halfway with my jacket. When it's ready, I start to hunt the trousers that I am going to modify shorter. Or the next thing after jacket I will go to buy fabric for new west and I start to make it. In the buying list I also need to buy pointy ears and "hair/fur" from Punanaamio.

Toivon, että onnistun sillä kaikista hankalin juuri onkin tuon kauluksen tekeminen. Taisin kuitenkin tajuta tänään miten se tehdään. Oletan ainakin :) Tässä tilanteessa on sitten se inhottavampi juttu kun ei tiedä millainen lopputulos sitten on. Minä kun en koskaan ompele etukäteen "luonnostelma cossia". Toisin sanoen ompele vaikka vanhasta lakanasta sitä cossia vaikka minun kai pitäisi niin tehdä. Ikä ja terveys siinä kyllä menisi..

I hope that I success with this, because the most annoyed and difficult part is making that bloody collar. But I think I may have made up how to make it. I presume :) In this moment of making that jacket it's more annoying when I don't know what the result is in the end. It's because I don't sew demo versions of the costume I am going to make. I should make it, but.. nope. Too annoying etc. 

Tuleva Halloween miitti - upcoming Halloween cosplay meeting

Halloween alkaa olla nurkan takana ja tulossa on myös cosplay miitti halloweenin jälkeiselle päivälle. Pitäisi siis keksiä jok cossi tässä nyt äkkiä.. se että mikä se cossi olisi, minulla ei ole hajuakaan. Voisin tietysti laittaa Sebastian cossini, mutta kuten Traconissa, jalkani olivat puoli kuolleet joten nope. En ota sitä. Toinen taas vaihtoehdoista olisi, että nyt vihdoinkin saisin jatkettua Ezio Auditore cossiani.

Soon it's Halloween and the day after that we have a cosplay meeting.. So I should made up a cosplay in few weeks.. But what cosplay it could be. I have no idea. I could put my Sebastian cosplay, but like in Tracon, my legs where half death after that so nope. I wont wear that. The other option could be that I could continue my Ezio Auditore cosplay.

Tai sitten rääkkäisin itseäni lisäämällä taas uuden cossin vaikka kaksi muuta onkin kesken.. Aloitin tässä muutama päivä sitten katsomaan Free! -animesarjaa ja tykkään siitä ihan älyttömästi. Joten voisin tehdä, jotten olisi ihan sokea, Rei Ryugasakin cossin tai hiusteni ja pituuteni puolesta helpomman Nagisa Hazukin.

Or I could annoy and hate myself by making a new cosplay altougt those two other cosplay costumes are not ready yet. In few days ago I started to watch Free! anime series and I love it. So I could make Rei Ryugazaki cosplay because of his classes, so I wouldn't be completly blind. Or because of my hair and height it could be easier to make Nagisa Hazuki. 

Toinen mahdollisuus helpoksi cossiksi olisi Pakkasukko. Olen jo kauan halunut cossata kyseistä henkilöä.Mitä tahansa teenkin, minun pitäisi tehdä päätös mahd. pian. Samalla miitissä olen lupautunut valokuvaajaksi.


The other option for easy cosplay costume could be Jack the Frost, I have for long time wanted to cosplay this character. Either way, I should make the decision quickly as possible. In the meeting I have promised to photograph the meeting.

Suru-uutisia - RIP

Tänään siis, monen viikon, kuukauden ja vuoden jälkeen tapahtui se mitä kauan odotimme ja pelkäsimme. Rakas isäni nukkui pois aamulla. Ei mukava aihe kirjoittaa, mutta se helpottaa, joten haluan sen laittaa tänne.

Today happened the thing we had waited and feared for days, weeks, and a year. My dear father passed away this morning. It's not nice topic to write, but I want to do it because it helps me. 

Sain äidiltäni tietää suru-uutisen, joten en mennyt kouluun ja en varmaan mene huomennakaan vaikka onkin tärkeä koulupäivä. Sain tuntea isäni melkein 21 vuotta. Oloni on tietenkin tyhjä ja on koko ajan ikävä. Välillä itkettää ja välillä tuntuu ihan ookoolta, hetkittäin hyväksyy tapahtuneen.


My mother informed me about my father this morning, so I didn't went to school and I am sure that I won't go tomorrow. I got to know my father almost 21 years. My feeling are empty and I am missing him very much. Sometimes I want just cry and sometimes it feels okay.

Portfoliota päivittämässä - Updating my Portfolio

Nyt päivitän näitä postauksiani. Ja portfoliotani. Ennen Traconia ja Ennen miittiä, olin kuvaamassa kolmisen viikkoa sitten alkoivat laivaston harjoitukset ulkomailta tulleiden laivastoa. Laivaston alukset olivat rantautuneet Aurajoen molemmin puolin ja lähdin veljeni kanssa kuvaamaan.
Voisi sanoa, että itse kun armeijaan aion mennä muutaman vuoden päästä, innostus oli korkeella :)

Now I am going to update my blog and portfolio. Before the Tracon and before the Cosplay Meeting I was photographing and three weeks earlier began the navy rehealsal. I went to photographing it with my brother. 
The navy warships were docking on Aurajoki's both sides. I can say that when I am going to army after two years, I was exited to see those ships. Almost once in a lifetime experiences. :)


Sain itse ajaa veljeni vanhalla fordilla. Soman pieni, mutta rasittava. No, pääsimme perille ja näimme ainakin kolmisenkymmentä sotalaivaa. Sekä isompia, että vähän pienempiä. Kuulemma ruotsin kruununprinssikin oli paikalla. Saatoin nähdä, mutta en edes tiennyt miltä heppu näytti, joten en ole varma. :)
 
I wanted to drive and my brother let me to do that with his old 80's ford. Little but annoying. Well, we got in there and we saw at least around 30th warships. There was a bit bigger and smaller ones. They say that Swedish crown prince was in there. I may saw him in there, but I am not sure because I don't know what he looks like. :)

Miitti ennen Traconia - Meeting before Tracon

Sunnuntaina viikkoa ennen Traconia, oli cosplaymiitti. Itselleni miitti oli osittain koulun puolesta oleva tehtävä ja osittain vain omaa hauskanpitoa.

At Sunday a week before the Tracon there was a cosplay meeting. For me the meeting was partly of the school homework and partly just own fun making.

Ylemmässä kuvassa ystäväiseni keksivät leikkiä Titanicin lempiparia ja toisessa kuvassa on kaverini Siri Irene Adlerina. Itse asiassa tuon mekon, joka näkyy hieman huonosti, olin minä osittain auttanut tekemään.

In the upper picture my friends had an idea to copy the couple of Titanic and in the second picture my friend Siri was Irene Adler. Actually that dress on her was partly made by me.
 

Näissä kahdessa kuvassa olivat Ron Weasley (oletan) ja Draco Malfoy. :3 Alemmassa taas Ezio Auditore.

Itse pukeuduin Army!John Watsoniksi ja lähdin kaverini Sirin kanssa kohti Kupittaanpuistoa.

On the first picture there was Ron Weasley (I presume) and Draco Malfoy :3
In the second there was Ezio Auditore.
I was cosplaying Army!John Watson and I went with my friend Siri to the Kupittaanpuisto, where the meeting was. 

Tässä kuvassa oli tuttuni, Ri-chan, jonka olen nähnyt muutamia kertoja aikaisemminkin. Sekä hobittin ensi-illassa että Traconin junassa.

Menimme ensin bussilla lähelle puistoa ja ketään ei näkynyt. Tosin, olimme aikaisessa, joten kukaan ei ollut vielä saapunut paikalle. Kävelimme kohti lintupuistoa ja lopulta kaikki muutkin eksyivät perille. Katselimme lintuja odotellessamme ja erittäin somat silkkikananpoikaset muistuttivat ihan Final Fantasyn Chocoboja (ei hajuakaan miten kirjoitetaan).
Asiasta takaisin kukkaruukkuun, kävelimme puiston reunamille ja "leiriydyimme" ruohikolle. Pidimme tietenkin omaa hauskaa ja pyysin ihmisiltä, jotta saisin ottamaan kuvia portfoliooni.

 In this picture, there was my friend Ri-chan or someone I have seen only three times before. She is cosplaying a schooboy from a baseball series. I don't remember which one.
So we took a bus to near the park and there was no one from our croup. Although we were a bit too early in there so no one had got in there yet. We walked over to the bird park and eventually
everyone got in there. We watched the birds which reminded of Chocobo from Final Fantasy game. Back to the topic, we walked near the edge of park and we "camped" on grass. We had our own fun of course and I had took my camera with me. I asked from the others that can I take some pictures from them and put them in my portfolio.

Kaikissa näissä kuvissa olleilta ihmisiltä olen saanut luvan postata myös tänne. Tämä nyt oli lyhyt postaus ja kuvia oli enemmänkin, mutta laitoin nyt mielestäni parhaimmat tänne.
